We officially launched our church in Camiling, Tarlac, on November 24, 2019! We hold worship services every Sunday at 10 a.m. in MC Mundo Building, Bonifacio street.
Camiling is a municipality in Tarlac with a rich cultural heritage. Notable people such as Leonor Rivera and Carlos Romulo came from this place. It is located in the north area of the province, which borders Pangasinan.
Our pastors and leaders started to do monthly prayer walks in Camiling after we planted a church in the nearby municipality of Bayambang, Pangasinan in 2015. Then, in 2017, we sent a church planter to hit the ground running. We started to meet in Victory groups in Tarlac Agricultural University, one of the prominent universities in Camiling. The groups eventually expanded to more universities and high schools. By God’s grace, we had our first worship service on October 6, then we officially launched the church last Sunday, November 24.
Many people from our church in nearby municipalities have been praying for Camiling, and we are grateful to see God answer the prayers through a church plant. Our pastors and leaders in Camiling desire to make the municipality known for more than just the chicharon. They want Camiling to be recognized as a launching pad for missionaries and church planters.
Let’s continue to pray for Camiling and believe that God will use our church to be salt and light to Tarlac and beyond.
Together, let us continue to pray for Camiling and our growing church in this municipality!
