Welcome our new church in Bataan: Victory Limay!

Welcome our new church in Bataan: Victory Limay!

We are launching our newest church plant, located in the historical province of Bataan. Please welcome Victory Limay!

This fresh church plant started with a ONE 2 ONE meeting in one of the business establishments in the city. From there, a Victory group composed of the company’s employees began meeting regularly, and they grew in number as the months progressed.

The church held its first weekly service in April 2015, at one of the company’s boardrooms! More and more people got wind of the weekly services, so much so that even non-employees would come and attend.

That same year, students began to meet in groups at the Limay Polytechnic College. During the eight weeks that they met, the students became discipled, led their own Victory groups, and eventually became part of the team of volunteers helping establish the church.

Because of the growing number of people joining our church plant, we moved to a bigger location, which is now where Victory Limay currently meets.

On Sunday, December 4, join us as we officially launch Victory Limay! Services will be held every Sunday, 2 PM, at Aguinaldo St., Brgy. Bo. Luz/Kitang 2, in Limay.

Please continue to stand with us in prayer—for greater growth, not just in numbers, but in each church member’s walk with God! We are in faith that as we reach out to more students, employees, and families, more and more lives will be transformed by the saving power of Jesus Christ.

If you have family or friends in the area, invite them to our newest church plant in Bataan—Victory Limay!

Another Victory Church in Nueva Ecija to Launch Soon

Another Victory Church in Nueva Ecija to Launch Soon

Talavera5Church planting efforts are intensifying in Nueva Ecija as we continue to establish more churches there. Recently, we announced the launch of Victory Cabanatuan’s new worship service at SM City Cabanatuan. Now, we’re excited to honor God and make disciples in Talavera, Nueva Ecija!

Victory Talavera recently moved to its new location at the second floor of Amini Building, located along Maharlika Highway at Zone 6, Maestrang Kikay. Previously located at the second floor of LandBank near the plaza and the Municipal Hall, Victory Talavera will officially launch on September 18, Sunday.

Led by the leadership team of Victory Cabanatuan, the church conducted their first Sunday service at the new building just last month, July 24, with an overflow of attendees and volunteers. Sunday worship services will be regularly held at this new venue, at 9:30 am, with Kids Church happening simultaneously.

Talavera is a municipality in Nueva Ecija, with many national roads passing through it. Due to its central location, it is one of the pivotal transport points in Central Luzon. We are in faith that God will cause amazing things to happen to Talavera’s inhabitants as the church makes it possible for more people to be reached out and discipled.

Kablaaw Para iti Victory Cauayan!

Kablaaw Para iti Victory Cauayan!

On Sunday, December 11, 2011, we’re officially launching our newest Victory church in Northern Luzon: Victory Cauayan!

Cauayan City, located right in the heart of the province, is considered the Agro-Industrial Capital of Cagayan Valley. It is also a bustling city, being the commercial center of Isabela. “It is a great privilege to be called by God to work in this harvest field and have it as our inheritance,” Pastor Jay Medrano, lead pastor of Victory Cauayan, shares.

High school students meet up for Victory groups

Victory Cauayan is our second Victory location in the Isabela region. Victory Santiago and Victory Tuguegarao helped establish this fresh church plant. Services were first held in July 2010 at the Amity Hotel in Cauayan City.

Currently, thirteen Victory groups meet in different venues, most of which are in the campuses. In fact, there have been great opportunities to share the gospel to the students and staff of the University of Perpetual Help System-Isabela.

A number of instructors and school officials are also part of Victory. One of them, Joy Aldeosa, was discipled when she was in her second year at Our Lady of the Pillar’s College. Now, she’s a college instructor, and is taking an active role in reaching her students and co-teachers. She’s started doing ONE 2 ONE with her students and plugging them in Victory groups.

Looking forward to ONE 2 ONE!

We’re excited for more students, families, and businesspeople to be discipled in this city! Pray with us for growth not just in numbers, but in the lives of the people we’re reaching. Pray also for more leaders to help equip and establish spiritual foundations in the locals.

Join us on Sunday, December 11, as we launch Victory Cauayan! See you at the fourth floor of OH Commercial Building, Cabatuan Road, Cauayan City. It’s located across Dr. Ester Garcia Hospital. Our opening service starts at 3 PM. Invite your family and friends to celebrate with us!

Kablaaw para iti Victory Cauayan! Maragsakan kami iti baru nga kapamilya ken simbaan dita Isabela. Dios iti agngina! (Congratulations, Victory Cauayan! We are glad to have a new member of our spiritual family in Isabela. God bless!)

Victory is one church in multiple locations in Metro Manila. We’re also located in various provinces across the Philippines. See you at our services!

Victory Tarlac: Going Strong at 20!

Victory Tarlac: Going Strong at 20!

From a handful of students to a church tremendously growing in numbers, Victory Tarlac is celebrating exponential growth over the past two decades!

It all started when a group of church planters, led by Pastor Jun Escosar, began meeting with some students at the Diwa ng Tarlac Convention Center in November 1991. From Bible studies to rock ‘n roll seminars, the team used various strategies to build relationships with the students in the vicinity. Edwin Mejia, one of their pastors, got to know Christ during these outreach activities.

In 2009, after strategically moving its location near campuses and the main road, Victory Tarlac reached a milestone, hitting a fivefold increase in number from its founding year to the present time. Currently, the church is composed of 68 Victory groups from all walks of life–students, single professionals, and families.

On November 27, 2011, Victory Tarlac is commemorating 20 years of honoring God and making disciples. Entitled “Dalawang Dekadang Saya: Going Strong,” the church is taking a walk down memory lane by celebrating God’s faithfulness for the past twenty years. Together, they will recount twenty fulfilled faith goals and look to the future with much expectation.

Victory Tagum and the Siopao

Victory Tagum and the Siopao

Who would have thought that siopao can be instrumental in the saving of many lives?

Pastor Manny Mintal (center) during one of the siopao outreaches

Ask Pastor Manny Mintal, the senior pastor of our Victory Tagum church plant. Through the power of God and His Word—plus Pastor Manny’s delicious home-cooked siopao—the team of church planters were able to connect with several students in Tagum, Davao, and eventually led them to having a relationship with God.

What started as an outreach project in July 2010 gave birth to a fruitful church plant right in the capital province of Davao del Norte. From outreach activities in nearby parks and “siopao outreaches” in the campuses, the growing church began to meet over merienda in carinderias until they eventually settled in their current Victory center.

Some of the students Victory Tagum has reached out to

On October 2011, Victory Tagum experienced a milestone, with their formal launch happening at the Town Country Plaza in Sobrecarey Street, Tagum, Davao.

Currently, several Victory groups are meeting in various venues in Tagum. More and more are going through ONE 2 ONE, while several others have already gone through Victory Weekend. Among the campuses in their vicinity, Victory Tagum is focusing its efforts on the University of Mindanao and the Magugpo Pilot Imelda Elementary School.

Indeed, greater things are up ahead for Victory Tagum! Join us as we pray for the campuses within their area and for more open doors to share the Word of God. Let’s also cover Victory Tagum in prayer, for growth and maturity of the church and of the current Victory groups.

Victory Tagum is one among a group of Victory churches in the Philippines. It holds a weekly Sunday service at 10AM at the Town Country Plaza, Sobrecarey corner Pioneer Street. If you know anyone in the area, don’t forget to let them know about our newest church in Tagum!

New Church Plant: Kablaawan tayo ti Victory Metro Vigan!

New Church Plant: Kablaawan tayo ti Victory Metro Vigan!

It is just amazing how God works to fulfill His kingdom purposes! Ilocos may be far from where you are but it is close to God’s heart.

Same old boring strokes
Just a couple of years back on May 2007, Victory Laoag started to reach out to the people of Vigan by engaging the students from the University of Northern Philippines. One month after that, five students were discipled in that campus.

Through that small group of disciples, the number of students being reached out from the university increased… and is still increasing! This year, the group started doing ministry work in Ilocos Sur National High School to further propel God’s work in that city and even in the whole Ilocos Sur province.

Not only students are are coming to know Jesus. Other people from all walks of life have also been reached out as different teams from Metro Manila helped and stayed as opportunities came to share the gospel – to families and to single professionals.

They did not labor in vain
…because on Sunday, August 14, 2011 Ilocos Sur officially launches Victory Metro Vigan! It will happen at 9 AM at the Victory Metro Vigan worship center located right at entrance of the city center—2nd floor GDJ Building, Rizal St., Zone 4, Bantay, Ilocos Sur (commonly known as Kservico Building).

Let’s continue to pray for Victory Metro Vigan
…for their leadership team and for the people who have been reached out – that they may grow in faith even as this church prospers. May all the people whom they will yet engage – will welcome the gospel with joy as God’s love and goodness overflow in their lives and throughout the Ilocandia region.

Let’s welcome Victory Metro Vigan!
If you have family and loved ones in the area, don’t forget to let them know about our newest church plant in Metro Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Watch out for our newest church plant in the Ilocos region: Victory Vigan!

Our work in Vigan began in May 2007, when Pastor Jonathan Ramos and his wife, Lani, moved from Victory Laoag to start the work in the city.

They first set their sights on the University of Northern Philippines, considered the first and oldest university in the region. A month after they set foot in Vigan, five students were discipled in that campus. Now, an increasing number of students from the university are being reached out for Christ!

As the years passed, more and more people took part in this church plant. Different teams from Metro Manila helped out and stayed as opportunities came to share the gospel not just with students but with families and single professionals.

This year, Victory Vigan began doing ministry work in Ilocos Sur National High School. This is an exciting time to make disciples!

We invite you to celebrate with us as Victory Vigan officially launches their church plant on Sunday, August 14, 10 AM, at the GDJ Building in Vigan. Let us support their leadership team by praying for growth, favor with more campuses, and more local leaders to help them out.

If you have family and loved ones in the area, don’t forget to let them know about our newest church plant in Ilocos. Let’s go and make disciples for Jesus in Vigan!

Victory Legazpi, Onse Anyos na!

Victory Legazpi, Onse Anyos na!

On June 26, 2011, let us join Victory Legazpi as it celebrates its eleventh anniversary! Their worship service on Sunday will be at 10:00 AM, at the 3rd Floor of the Pacific Mall Entertainment Plaza, Legazpi City.

Victory Legazpi started in 2000 as a church plant by Victory U-Belt. Its first worship service was held at the Immaculate Concepcion in Daraga Albay with approximately thirty members only. Its growth was sustained through outreach programs for students in the campuses of that area.

God’s faithfulness brought them to new locations to hold small group meetings, discipleship programs, and services within Legazpi City. In 2007, they were given a steady venue within the city to accommodate a bigger attendance in all their Sunday services, and a location to hold office for the church.

As one church, Victory Legazpi says, “With grateful hearts we dedicate ourselves once again to do the work of making disciples of Jesus Christ and establishing Christ’s church in this community.”

Maugmang Ika-Onse Anyos na Anibersaryo Victory nin Legazpi! Marina digdi sa Victory Legazpi! (Happy Eleventh Anniversary, Victory Legazpi! Let’s go to Victory Legazpi!)

Victory General Santos: Five Years na ta!

Victory General Santos (Victory GenSan) turns five on June 26!  In 2005, this church started with several small groups meeting at a senior pastor’s house to discuss the Purple Book. They grew in number and had to  move to a bigger location until they were able to acquire their own worship center. They were officially added to the Victory family in  2007.

Today, Victory GenSan has close to a thousand attendees in their Sunday services. They currently hold LIFE classes in eight colleges and high school campuses.  Indeed, God’s work is growing strong in this region. In fact, Victory GenSan is aiming to reach the whole of SocSKSarGen (South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, GenSan) for Jesus, and with God’s help, it will be!

During their anniversary on Sunday, June 26, they will hold a one-time worship service at 5PM at the KCC Convention Center. After the anniversary, regular worship schedules will resume for the next Sundays thereafter—9 AM, 10:45 AM, and 4 PM.

If you have family and friends in General Santos City, make sure that you not only invite them there to experience the Tuna Capital of the Philippines or to check on Manny Pacquiao’s boxing mementos, but most importantly, invite them to Victory GenSan to experience God’s best for the city. Happy anniversary, Victory GenSan!

Amanda Lauzon serves as administrator of Victory General Santos, and Joppet Tan is a campus minister based in the area.

Our Newest Church Plant in Northern Luzon: Victory Baguio-Wright Park!

This Sunday, June 19, join us as we officially launch our newest church in Northern Luzon: Victory Baguio-Wright Park!

This church plant is definitely a first of its kind, being the first provincial city to have two satellite locations within the area. The original Victory Baguio in Session Road will now be called Victory Baguio-Session.

Efforts for building the new center have begun last March. After successfully completing the building project in a few months’ time, Victory Baguio-Wright Park celebrated their first Worship Night on June 2, with 205 people attending the gathering. Currently, twenty Victory Group leaders from Victory Baguio-Session are helping plant Victory Baguio-Wright Park. We are in faith that with this new church plant, more campuses, families, and single professionals will be reached in the city of Baguio.

If you have loved ones in the area, do invite them to our newest church plant: Victory Baguio-Wright Park! Intayon djay!

New Victory Church in Malolos City

New Victory Church in Malolos City

Watch video!

We are glad to share this news about our latest provincial church plant. Victory Malolos will open its doors to residents of Bulacan on September 14. This is an addition to our four existing Victory churches in Central Luzon.

This church plant began in October of 2006 at a coffee shop in the busiest section of Malolos City. Five couples from Victory Caloocan and a couple from Victory Fort Bonifacio who were residents of Bulacan faithfully met every week and prayed for the opportunity for a church to be planted in the city.

By January 2007, the group began holding twice-a-month gatherings at the Bulacan State University Hostel with Pastor Ferdie del Valle, senior pastor of Victory Caloocan. Around fifty people started to come to these Saturday meetings.

Students and professors from Bulacan State University began attending, and this paved the way for more people to be reached. With members inviting friends and relatives, new small groups were formed and more people became part of the congregation. After five months of consistent growth, the twice-a-month meeting soon developed into a weekly Saturday convergence at the Hiyas Convention Center.

Currently, an average of 180 people attend their Saturday gatherings, and twenty small groups meet weekly in the area. Because of this breakthrough, Victory Malolos will hold a regular 9 AM service every Sunday at the Hiyas Convention Center beginning September 14. Kids Church will also be available at the same time and venue. This church plant takes us a step closer to reaching other cities and municipalities of Bulacan as we continue to heed the call to honor God and make disciples.

We invite you, your friends, and your family to visit Victory Malolos and help spread the news about this new church in Bulacan. For more information, check out their website at www.victorymalolos.org.
