Join us in our Relief Efforts

Since Monday, August 6, Metro Manila and its neighboring cities have been affected by heavy rains causing the overflow of dams resulting in massive evacuations in low-lying communities. Thousands of families have been displaced and are in need of basic goods and medical attention.

We invite you to join us at Victory as we begin relief efforts for those affected by the floods and heavy rains over Metro Manila. Seventeen Victory centers are now accepting donations for flood victims.

If you’re on Twitter and would like to like to participate in the discussion, please tweet using the hashtag #tulongpinoy.

According to the news the rice should be cooked because the affected people don’t have means of cooking food.

  • Lea Santos August 7, 2012 at 9:35 pm

Packing and distribution are until 6PM only to give our volunteers the opportunity to go home before it gets too dark. However the Every Nation Building staff will continue to receive goods after 6PM. These will be packed and distributed the following day. Thanks for clarifying and wanting to help!

No direct feeding program. We’re only helping provide relief goods to key communities in the immediate vicinity of our Victory Centers. Thanks!

  • Jo Manalo August 8, 2012 at 11:17 am

how about in Manila or Pasay areas?

    • Carlos Antonio August 8, 2012 at 12:12 pm

Hi! Because the centers in these areas are surrounded by flood-hit roads, we’ve been encouraging people to direct their help to more accessible Victory Centers. We are however, prioritizing the distribution of relief goods to include these areas.
