We have launched a new church in beautiful Silay City in Negros Occidental!
“Silay is a cultural hub,” says Victory Silay lead pastor Jason Ferrer. “It is one of only two museum cities in the Philippines. We plan to disciple and train leaders while maintaining respect to what they so value, which is culture.”
When it comes to honoring God and making disciples, it helps to think big because we serve a big God. According to Pastor Jason, “We believe Silay will serve as the gateway to planting more churches in the northern part of the province.”
“We hope to start a second service on Sundays by June 2015,” he adds. “We’re also looking to establish a presence in bigger campuses like the Silay Institute and Sta. Teresita Academy. In five years, we hope to birth churches in Victorias City and Cadiz City.”
Victory Silay holds its Sunday services at 4 PM at the second floor of the Baldevia Building, Zamora Street corner Gamboa Street, Silay City, Negros Occidental. Weekly prayer meetings are scheduled on Thursdays at 6:30 PM and youth services take place on Saturdays at 3 PM.
We are excited for Victory Silay! Please pray with us for opportunities to reach out to families, businesses, and campuses in the city they call “The Paris of Negros.”
See you at the Baldevia Building every Sunday, at 4 PM! Invite your family and friends to join us, too!
