A Testament of God’s Faithfulness

A Testament of God’s Faithfulness

The recent commencement exercises on November 21st and the ordination of pastors on November 16th stand as a powerful testament to nothing else but God’s faithfulness and steadfast love for His people.

We welcome the 28 newly ordained pastors and the 40 graduates of the School of Ministry. Thank you for always putting Christ at the front and center of your ministry.

As you will be sent back to your local churches, we pray that God will continue to be glorified through your lives and ministries.

A Call to Biblical Leadership

In his exhortation, Pastor Steve Murrell emphasized the importance of adhering to biblical standards of leadership. He challenged the newly ordained pastors to resist cultural norms and to align themselves solely with the biblical norm, as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Leadership has been a core value of Victory since its inception. And by God’s grace, the church remains committed to its calling to raise leaders who will plant churches, reach nations, and disciple the next generation.

The Basis and Motivation of Our Serice: The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Dr. Jun Escosar, in his exhortation on November 21, highlighted the ultimate basis and motivation for service: the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He emphasized that service, marked by God’s purpose, is an act of worship.

Once a mission field—and now, a mission force, all for God’s glory.

And that all this service that we could do for others is a privilege to respond to the gospel and to serve God by shepherding His people—whether we are on the campuses, in our cities, or, in the nations.
