As a church, we want to be God’s hands and feet, extending His provision and comfort to those in need. We believe that this is an effective way to advance the kingdom of God in our communities and nation.
Typhoon Maring Relief
Many families in North Luzon were affected by Typhoon Maring, which made landfall in early October. The winds blew off roofs from houses, floods reached many homes, and landslides blocked roads leading to many victims.
Our church in La Union and our Victory group leaders in Victory Greenhills led initiatives to help different barangays in La Union that were severely affected by the rains.
They were able to distribute bags of goods, rice, and bottled water, and cleaning supplies to help with the restoration of the homes of some families. They also prayed for the cities, declaring God’s blessing and continued protection upon them.
We continue to pray and believe God for the recovery and restoration of those affected by the typhoon.
You can also be God’s hands and feet to your community! Follow your local church’s Facebook page to get involved in what God is doing in your local community.
Pain, troubles, and suffering are part of life. And often, we can be consumed by these difficulties we face. However, God’s word shows us a different way: Jesus heals us, restores us, and gives us the power to overcome our difficulties. But it doesn’t stop with us. We can help others do the same. We are the salt and light that can reach out to others and extend the love and power God has given to us (Matthew 5:13–16).
Now that we are God’s people, our understanding of our realities stems from the truth of His word and a desire to advance His kingdom. His word allows us to apply His truths, helps us respond in faith, and causes us to actively take part in discipling a nation.
For the next six weeks, we will talk about God’s restoration plan for the world through the book of Isaiah. Join us as we learn more about these topics for our upcoming series:
Week 1: God versus False Religion (March 14)
Week 2: God versus Oppressors (March 21)
Week 3: Jesus, The Righteous King (March 28)
Week 4: Jesus, The Suffering Servant (April 4)
Week 5: God’s Righteous People (April 11)
Week 6: God’s Plan of Renewal (April 18)
We hope that this series will help us continue to be the salt and light, actively reaching people and taking part in what God is doing to restore the world to Himself.
Following health and safety protocols, we have resumed some worship services onsite while continuing to meet online. You may join us by checking the schedules here or your Victory location’s Facebook page.
Join us at the Seaside Boulevard, SM Mall of Asia grounds, on November 30 for Real LIFE Foundation’s annual Race for LIFE 2015! Now on its eighth year, the Race for LIFE is for the benefit of over 250 scholars of the Real LIFE Foundation all over the Philippines.
The Real LIFE Foundation is the social responsibility arm of Victory and Every Nation. Our way of showing compassion to the poor is through the provision of Scholarship Grants to high school and university students. We believe that it is through education where the poor can get out of poverty. To date: Real LIFE has granted over 1000 scholarships since it started in 2003. Real LIFE is currently handling 260 scholars nationwide.
From September 5 to October 25, Pastor Ferdie Cabiling will run across the Philippines, running 50 kilometers a day, covering 2,500 kilometers, to celebrate his 50th birthday. His goal: To raise P2.5 million pesos for the scholars of Real LIFE Foundation.
Find out how you can support Pastor Ferdie and impact the lives of 250 Real LIFE scholars.
Jesus exemplified a life of servanthood while He was here on earth. What does it mean to follow His example in caring for other people’s needs?
In our new series, “The Gap,” each of us will understand God’s compassion, as taught and exemplified by Jesus. After our series, may each of us learn to be socially responsible, exhibiting His qualities through action and works of service.
Here is our list of weekly topics:
Week one: Compassionate God
Week two: Compassionate People
Victory is one church in Metro Manila that meets in fifteen different locations. We also meet in various venues across the Philippines. Find the Victory location nearest you by visiting our national directory.
