Christian living - Victory - Honor God. Make Disciples.
Designed for Relationships

Designed for Relationships

We’ve all heard the saying, “No man is an island”. Recent events and seasons have solidified the importance of relationships to our well-being. The weight and value our family and friends bring to our lives can never be replaced by any material thing or achievement. Truly, we are designed for relationships.

The ability to gather together, share a meal, and encourage one another reminds us that we are designed to connect, build, and grow with others. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit living together in perfect harmony reflect the kind of relationships God wants us to enjoy in this life.

Let’s discover the power of relationships as we walk in God’s purpose. Join us in the next four weeks as we learn more about these topics:

  • Week 1: Dynamics of Relationship within the Trinity
  • Week 2: Follow Jesus
  • Week 3: Fellowship with Others
  • Week 4: Fish for Men

Together, let’s be empowered to make disciples and make God known in our campuses, communities, and nation. We hope to see you on March 25 for our Discipleship Conference 2023. Click here to know more.

New Series: Walk the Talk

New Series: Walk the Talk

Following Jesus is impossible apart from knowing and growing in His word. We are not just encouraged to read the Bible daily, but also think and live accordingly. It’s not just a matter of how much you know, but how much of the Bible is evident in your daily life.

Let’s continue to discover the power and beauty of God’s word. It can transform our hearts, minds, and lives to be more like Jesus as we meditate on, obey, and apply God’s word in all aspects of our lives every day.

Join us in the next six weeks as we learn more about how we can walk the talk. Here are our topics:

  • Week 1: Walk in the Word (September 4)
  • Week 2: Store the Word (September 11)
  • Week 3: Speak the Word (September 18)
  • Week 4: Choose the Word (October 9)
  • Week 5: Remember the Word (October 16)
  • Week 6: Pray the Word (October 23)

Nearness

Nearness

Regardless of how long we have been walking with God, the uncertainties we face and of the future would often make us feel unprepared and lost. Our struggles and difficulties can truly be overwhelming, and even Jesus Himself warned us about these troubles. The good news is that God did not end there.

As we look at the book of Isaiah once again, we can get a closer look into these characteristics of God: unchanging, powerful, and faithful. No matter how deep we go into the holes our challenges have dug us into, we will never be too far from His sight and reach. He is a God that can be trusted because He is near, and His word never fails.

For the next six weeks, we will continue our book study on Isaiah. The first part of our series in March, Trust Worthy, focused on how God keeps His covenant with us, His people. Our new series, Nearness, will help us navigate how we can choose to have a hope-filled response toward the promises and faithfulness of God.

Join us as we learn more about these topics in the next six weeks:

  • Week 7: Comfort (October 10)
  • Week 8: Courage (October 17)
  • Week 9: Draw Near To God (October 24)
  • Week 10: Restoration(October 31)
  • Week 11: Righteousness (November 7)
  • Week 12: Victory (November 14)

We hope that through this series we will get to know God more. As we put our trust in Him and His word, let’s build on our unshakeable foundation and continue to walk confidently with Him.

Light for the Nations

Light for the Nations

The world we live in is troubled and broken. Everywhere we look, we see lack, unrest, uncertainty. Our world is in desperate need of light.

Yet despite what we see and experience all around us, we can have hope and move in faith because God promised to send a Savior—the Light for the nations—who will redeem the world from darkness.

For the next two weeks, we will be looking at the promise God made, spoken through the prophet Isaiah, about how He will restore all nations and how we can participate in what He is doing. Join us as we learn more about these topics for our upcoming series:

  • Week 1: The Servant Who Brings Light to the World (September 26)
  • Week 2: The Herald Who Proclaims Good News (October 3)

Let’s continue to shine God’s light to the nations!

Future Hope

Future Hope

What we know about our future directly affects how we live today. So if we know that Christ will come again, how should we live? Paul addressed this same question in his letter to the Thessalonians. In light of the coming of Christ, he urged them to live according to the word of God, to live in community and harmony with others, to persevere in spite of trials, and to please God in everything.

Our present circumstances may lead us to lose our hope. But because we know that we have Christ and that He will one day come in glory, we live with hope for our future and have confidence in Him.

For the next five weeks, let’s learn about how we can live with confidence and hope, reflecting His love to the world in light of Christ’s coming. Join us as we learn more about these topics for our upcoming series:

  • Week 1: Faith in View of Christ’s Coming (August 15)
  • Week 2: Serving in View of Christ’s Coming (August 22)
  • Week 3: Suffering in View of Christ’s Coming (August 29)
  • Week 4: Living for God’s Pleasure in View of Christ’s Coming (September 5)
  • Week 5: Church in View of Christ’s Coming (September 12)

May we spread the hope that we have in Christ and help others know that there is something to live for!
