Sonny De Leon moved from the province to Metro Manila to pursue his studies in Ateneo. His college years were plagued by struggles.
He was at risk of losing his scholarship in a course that he wasn’t passionate about. At that time, his family’s business was failing and his parent’s marriage was falling apart.
One day, a group of missionaries showed up at his dorm room and asked, “Is your heart on fire for God?”
It was then that God opened his heart to surrender his life to Him and walk in discipleship.

Through these difficult times, God surrounded him with friends and mentors who encouraged him to keep following Jesus.
“Church is more than just a building, it’s people serving God, watching over you, and covering your back.” – Sonny De Leon
By God’s grace, he graduated, worked, got married, raised a family, traveled the world, and started a business.
Since then, the passion to share the gospel and make disciples has burned all the more brightly for Sonny. He continues to disciple people from businessmen to young people, helping them find their sure and steady hope in Jesus.
“The biggest breakthroughs I’ve had in my life were during the most difficult times. God is always there through every major life stage and with so much grace.” – Sonny De Leon
