Grace Upon Grace: Recollection Initiatives for Graduates

Transitions in life are never easy. They often come with challenges, especially when experienced by the younger generation. That is why, as a church that always believes in the next generation and the mighty works that God can do through them, our spiritual family across our Metro Manila churches is here to serve our graduating students.

We do this by helping the campuses facilitate their recollections. Recollection Day is usually held for graduating classes. It often comes with a program designed like a retreat or a day of reflection—this way, it helps students deepen their faith in God and also encourages their personal growth.

In partnership with the faculty and staff of some campuses across Metro Manila, we have made the graduates’ Recollection Day memorable, offering various activities all intended to draw them closer to Christ.

We pray and believe that this will also serve as an avenue for the students to be refreshed, receive healing, and, of course, encounter God’s great love and saving grace.

By God’s grace, this has become a means for us to build deeper relationships with the students. Little by little, students find their way to our spiritual families, realizing that this could also be a safe space for them to talk about the challenges they face.

It has also been a privilege for us to witness the students forming stronger bonds among one another.

Recollection initiatives help us bring the gospel to the campuses and empower those student leaders who are already in Christ, as we are in faith that they will eventually become God’s mission force one day.

Let us continue to pray for the graduating students this school year. May they find strength and grace in Christ alone as they navigate this season of transition.

Believe with us that the graduates will grow and deepen in their faith in God, by His grace.
