Every Nation Leadership Institute (ENLI) held its 15th Commencement Ceremonies that recognized 392 men and women of different ages, cultures, and backgrounds, who have completed their ministry and leadership program. ENLI Asia Director, Dr. Jun Escosar, conferred the degrees of Certificate of Christian Ministry to 349 students while forty-three students received the Master of Arts in Christian Leadership.

This batch of graduates of School of World Missions who call themselves as “World Transformers,” went through ten months of extensive training equivalent to three years of intensive leadership training to prepare them in becoming future pastors, cross-cultural missionaries, church planters, and campus workers. In addition to this, thirty-two of the forty-three graduates also recently earned the Graduate Diploma in Intercultural Urban Studies at the Asian Theological Seminary in Quezon City. Likewise, 349 students completed the two-year Bible-based leadership course held in ten ENLI centers in Metro Manila.

The evening saw several students recognized for showing exemplary academic performance and character during their leadership training. Each center gave its students academic excellence awards as well as the highly regarded Fishers of Men Award. A total of thirty-two students received medals in recognition of their outstanding performance.

Dennis Roman D. Isleta, a former member of the country’s armed forces, who was cited with four awards including the prestigious Faculty Award. The three other awards honored him were the Gold Academic Excellence Award, Fishers of Men Award, and Leadership Award.

Jay Medrano and Sharon Rose Milan received two awards each. Jay accepted the Silver Medal for Academic Excellence and the Spirit of Excellence Award while Sharon was credited with the Bronze Academic Excellence Award and the Outstanding Achievement Award. Other awardees recognized were, Gabby C. Vargas for Best in Scripture Memory, Christian G. ENLI Ortigas Center received the distinction of this year’s Outstanding Center Award and Pastor Ritchie Llanto of Victory Zamboanga was given the Outstanding Alumnus Award for the fruitfulness of his ministry in raising top quality disciples and leaders, impacting many people.

As the 15th Commencement Ceremonies drew to a close, God’s faithfulness will surely be remembered in the growing number of students that committed themselves not just to the preaching of the gospel but to the ministry of serving and honoring Him through making more disciples in this generation.

There are great moments during the 15th Commencement Ceremonies held last April 4 that we would like to remember. See and relive some of the highlights of the event.
